About Me

Welcome, hopefully by the title and domain of the website you can gather that I am Brian Collins. I currently am a student at the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa with an anticipated graduation with my undergraduate degree in May of 2025. In May of 2025 I will graduate with a Bachelors of Business Administration, B.B.A., in Accounting and Business Analytics & Information Systems, BAIS. Concluding my undergraduate graduation I plan on staying an extra year to achieve my Masters of Accountancy, MAc, with an emphasis in Business Analytics. The time to finish the MAc degree allows me to reach the required 150 credit hours to sit for the Certified Public Accountant, CPA, exam.

Now to the fun stuff, I am an Iowa boy born and raised with the values that you would expect from a Midwesterner, loyal, hardworking, and self-reliant just to name a few. These two animals you see below are my best friends, the rascal on the left is Hank a two and a half year Bernese Mountain Dog who is around 120 pounds but the biggest baby you will ever meet. Somehow the one of the right, Scout, a cat that I fostered during the COVID-19 Pandemic is the boss around the house. 

In my free time, other than playing with the two brats above, I like to exercise and play soccer. I had played soccer all my life and had the amazing ability to cap my playing career off with back-to-back Iowa 3A State Championships. I absolutely loved my time playing soccer but since have found other passions through others parts of exercise, this summer, 2023, I will be completing RAGBRAI, a bicycle trip that starts with dipping your tire in the Missouri River on the west of Iowa and finishes with dipping your tire in the Mississippi River on the east of Iowa.
